Capella's 100% owned Lajitas and Nevada Gold-Copper properties are both strategically located approximately 700 kilometres northwest of Santiago, Chile in the Maricunga Gold and Copper District, a prolific region of porphyry gold-copper deposits. The properties comprise ten exploration claims and six exploitation claims totaling a cumulative 3,500 hectares in area.
The Maricunga Gold Belt hosts at least 14 major prospects, including three operating mines and two substantial idle deposits. Combined gold resources in the belt are in the order of 43 million ounces of gold.
